Despite not eating them for 10 years, I have quickly adapted to loving eggs again. They are a great vegetarian source of protein and vitamin B12. Perfect for a quick snack, I always try to have some on hand in the fridge. Hard boiled eggs are also great sliced on a salad, or as a quick meal of egg salad! Here is my easy method of cooking them that works every time!
How to cook hard boiled eggs:
- Place eggs in bottom of saucepan
- Cover with cold water an inch over the eggs
- Bring water to a boil
- Remove from heat, cover and set a timer for 14 minutes
- Remove eggs from water, let cool to the touch and peel
Place any unused eggs in the fridge for later!
